Welcome to Ocean CityOcean City, Maryland and The Kite Loft welcome
you to come and fly on the beautiful beaches along our famous
boardwalk!
The Maryland International Kite
Exposition will feature three fun filled days of kite flying on the
beautiful beaches of Ocean City, Maryland. Throughout the festival,
there will be exhibitions and demonstrations including stunt and power
kite lessons, free children's games and activities, and much more! The
festival will showcase some of the best kite flyers from around the
world. Kites of all shapes and sizes will be on display including some
massive character and theme based kites. On behalf of The Kite Loft
and The Town of Ocean City we welcome everyone to join in the
festivities. Bring your family for several days of good old fashion
kite flying. Remember when we say “Go Fly a Kite”, we mean it.
For 2010 we are having a Giant Kite
Extravaganza!
Susan Gomberg of Gomberg Kite Productions will be directing her Team
of profesional kite flyers, showcasing some of the largest kites that
Ocean City has ever seen. If you have a giant kite (and I mean GIANT)
then come fly with her on the Big Kite Field. If you don't, then come,
watch and be blown away.
iQuad is Coming to Town
Making an apprerance during their 2010 US Tour will be Team iQuad.
Bazzer Poulter, Steve de Rooy, JD Fabich and Adrian Flanagan from
iQuad will be at MIKE performing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
directly in front of the Kite Loft store.

iQuad
is a group of dedicated Revolution fans who came together in the
spring of 2006 with one goal in mind, the promotion of quad team
flying... It's been a mainstay of European kite flying for many years,
starting back in the early 90s with the Decorators in England and
eventually spreading to a handful countries throughout Europe with
various groups.
Time recently spent by John Barresi and David
Hathaway at the 20th anniversary of the Berck-sur-Mer festival in
France (April '06) convinced them it was time to give this unique form
of flying a higher profile in North America. Composed of fliers from
all over the United States and Canada, iQuad is primarily composed of
eight core fliers but also incorporates other able fliers into mega
flies any chance they get...

Kites, The Kite Shoppe, LaserPro and Kitelife.com... They were chosen
not only for their excellent products and service, but also for the
character and integrity they represent throughout the kiting industry
and community.
They enjoy traveling to events all over the
country, demonstrating sport kiting and promoting this amazing family
pastime... Among our team members, we also have some of the top dual
line pilots in North America, which gives us the unique ability to
show several kinds of demonstration skills including trick, pairs,
team and indoor flying, in addition to the quad line team.
Rev Games –
Come and join the fun with Rev Games! Test your skill on flying a
four-line kite with games that include cones, blind folds and a
timer. All skill levels are encouraged to participate in this fun
filled event!
